A veritable vintage of extremes, the weather in 2018 allowed each plot to reach optimal ripeness to reveal wines of both impressive structure and beautiful aromatic potential.
Although winter was quite wet and spring required vigilance, the rest of the year enjoyed favorable conditions.

Tasting advice

Ageing Potential
Mainly sourced from the estate’s younger vines, Château Le Crock’s second wine is crafted with the same rigour and high standards as the Grand Vin. Although considered the "younger sibling" of Château Le Crock, it stands out for its accessibility and charm from an early age.
When to Drink It?
This wine can be enjoyed immediately, while also offering an ageing potential of 10 to 15 years, allowing its aromas to develop beautifully over time.
Food and Wine Pairing
This vintage pairs elegantly with flavourful dishes such as slow-cooked lamb shoulder, a delicate Jerusalem artichoke velouté, or a mushroom and chestnut risotto finished with butter, perfectly enhancing its structure and aromatic depth.
