"The 2022 Château Le Crock is absolutely brilliant and shows how strong the vintage is in the northern part of the Médoc. Pure black and blue fruits, graphite, lead pencil, and fresh earth all define the aromatics, and it's full-bodied, with a juicy spine of acidity and a great finish." 11.05.2023

"This is an amazing Le Crock, and it appears to be situated on the perfect plot of land to maximise the concentration, ripeness and sunshine of this vintage while retaining enough minerality and moisture, as well as cool breezes, to stay in ideal balance. Deep purple in colour, thrillingly expressive and lifted on the palate, this is a vibrant, open and energetic wine with brilliant spiciness and croquante tannins such that the whole experience lasts for minutes on the finish. This is a stunning Le Crock, and while it tastes delicious already, it will age well, too." 15.05.2023

"Rather like Léoville-Poyferré, the Cuvelier family’s flagship wine, Le Crock includes more Merlot than you might expectIt presents a dark, smoky and poised nose, laced with the aromas of toast, liquorice and blackcurrant. The palate is finely polished and correct, with a rich and focused core of dry and powdery fruit. Classically styled, polished, integrated, correct, the layers of toast, liquorice and black olive resting on a fine underpinning of high-quality tannins which really make this what it is. Very impressive." 14.01.2025

"Due to the high quality of all the parcels, there's no second wine from Château Le Crock in 2022. The 2022 Château Le Crock is certainly no worse for it, revealing a beautiful purple hue as well as medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe currants, violets, graphite, and black cherries, with a kiss of classic Saint-Estèphe damp earth. It's balanced and has ripe, building tannins and a great finish. It will keep for 20-25 years with ease."

"This is well-defined and focused on the nose. Understated at first, opening with blackberry, briar and pencil shavings aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, black pepper and graphite, taut and linear toward its almost Pauillac-like, certainly tannic finish." 24.05.2023

"A classic St.-Estephe that shows power, tension and a subtle mineral quality, with fresh, deep blue and black fruit. Tight, al dente and chalky, with a full body and a very long, tense finish. Impressive quality." 03.02.2025
